AUXILIUM INSTITUTE OF LEGAL & PROFESSIONAL STUDIES PAR-100: 900-HOUR CURRICULUM EXPANSION — REVIEW EDITION STATUS This is the proposed delivery and assessment plan, not a statement of approval or examination eligibility. Existing chapter readings, quizzes and assignments are retained. New activity briefs below require instructor-prepared fictional fact packets, verified sources, delivery materials and duration trials before launch. No student hours are awarded by this plan. No college credit or transfer promise is made. STRUCTURE 45 instructional weeks x 20 hours = 900 planned hours. Existing core: 270 hours; existing 18 drafting labs: 54 hours; existing capstone: 36 hours. Existing total: 360. Added guided instruction: 135; source workshops: 135; applied project extensions: 180; feedback and revision: 90. Added total: 540. Weeks 1–12: administrative foundations, 240 hours. Weeks 13–18: legal office foundations, 120 hours. Weeks 19–30: research and supervised paralegal practice, 240 hours. Weeks 31–45: legal subjects and integrated readiness, 300 hours. These are blocks within PAR-100, not new awarded courses or semester credits. WEEKLY DELIVERY AND ASSESSMENT Existing six-hour core retains reading 1.5, guided practice .75, assignment 1.5, discussion 1, quiz .5 and reflection/revision .75. Added guided instruction (3h): instructor demonstration, worked example and facilitated application with checks for understanding. Added source workshop (3h): locate and compare authoritative sources or office standards, document search steps and apply findings to the week's deliverable. Added feedback/revision (2h): review instructor comments, correct the deliverable and submit a change log explaining each revision. Applied work block (6h): existing labs (0 or 3h), existing capstone (0 or 4h), and new applied project work fill this block. Tasks below extend existing work without recounting the same time. Use fictional facts; legal documents are educational drafts for attorney review. No real client data is required. Expanded deliverable rubric: accuracy 30%, reasoning/source support 25%, completeness 20%, organization/accessibility 15%, professional boundaries 10%. Proposed minimum 70%; revise unresolved critical accuracy/confidentiality defects. This rubric supplements rather than silently replaces existing grade weights. HOUR EVIDENCE AND GRADUATION Capture activity ID, week, date, actual start/end or supported participation duration, breaks, evidence link, attempted/completed minutes and verifier. Distinguish reading/homework from any activities accepted as instructional clock hours; do not count either automatically. Exclude breaks, idle sessions, optional study, duplicated tasks and external exam appointments. Instructor verification is required; a passing grade does not create hours. Missing approved hours require documented equivalent make-up work, not blanket credit. For the eventual authorized 900-hour version, completion requires 900 verified allowable hours, required assessments, the existing passing standard, and capstone completion. Apply the new requirement only to the relevant finalized program/cohort; do not retrospectively change records. Existing portal graduation rules and live transcript configuration have not been activated at 900 hours by this planning update. SUBSTANTIVE LEGAL REVIEW Reserve weeks 19–26 and 31–40 (18 weeks / 360 planned hours) for detailed substantive-course review. These are candidate hours, not a determination that all 360 qualify. Annotate each instructional activity, remove administrative/general and nonqualifying study time, and verify that the accepted substantive total reaches at least 225. Do not classify office administration or exam simulations as substantive merely to reach the threshold. Confirm institutional and delivery eligibility with NALA. LAUNCH CHECKLIST Finalize fictional fact packets and instructor demonstrations; identify current official source readings; trial actual task durations; confirm instructor capacity and costs; obtain applicable TWC authorization and NALA eligibility guidance; adopt final calendar/enrollment agreement and hour-counting policy; configure the approved program's academic requirement and publish activities into its cohort. Current public status remains Coming soon.
